We met at Bob and Sandy's Beach BBQ in Hardy AR and meeting began at 6:30 p.m.
Arrie Goodman gave opening prayer.
1)Minutes from April 16th were accepted as read. Vernon made motion to accept and Wallene 2nd it. All approved.
2)Treasurer's Report:(Books are open for any member to review)FNBC Checking:$779.01

Debit of $360.00 to Myron Kroph for 4 packages for members. Thank you Arrie for picking up and delivering them.
3)Five Rivers Bee Club Field Trip Day - Our club will start visiting members hives as a group to get hands-on experience;to learn techniques, ask questions and offer guidance.The field trips will be held on Saturday of every month at various members locations.
If you wish to be added to one of the months OPEN, please contact me; either by email Jacque English or phone (870) 856-4987 with which Saturday and best time for you to have be at your place.

4) Meetings will be video recorded and posted on Facebook. This way folks that could not attend the meeting can watch them.
We been having great presentations on beekeeping and this will be a good way to share with others.
5) Lonnie did a show and tell on a new top feeder he found that works very well.
6)Vernon did a show and tell on a new lightweight NUC holder and great for splitting hives.
He did drawing at end of meeting of them. Lonnie Perry and Bradly Walters won. CONGRATS !!
He had James Woolridge come up and did an one-on-one colony inspection of a brood box.
What to look for on each frame. Rules of thumb, take it slow and steady for each frame, be sure to replace the frames exactly as they were when you return them to the box, ensure all frames are evenly spaced after inspection to avoid crazy comb. If signs of queen cells (on top of frame means they want a new queen, if cells are on the bottom, those are swarm cells) you can split.
